A native of Virginia and world traveler Tanya now lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia painting her experiences in the style of a modern itinerant painter.
Born in Virginia and raised across America Tanya has traveled the nation and adventured through Europe, Russia, Egypt, Mexico and China. but she thinks of Rappahannock , where she lived and worked for almost thirty years, as home.
Her ever-evolving style boasts brisk brush strokes and elegant composition with a whimsical flavor.
Tanya’s work is currently exhibited at Tru Luv’s Restaurant on Sophia Street and The Gallery at 915 on Lafayette Blvd in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
She teaches painting classes on Wednesday afternoons at the Gallery at 915, conducts artist consultations on Saturdays and is the creative director and curator for the Gallery at 915.
